Nature Weekend

Arrive on Friday and depart on Sunday. A $50 voucher will await you for dinner in the Tavern. The next day strolls through the colonial village and you can use your Stony Brook Village Center Discount Courtesy Card in one or more of the 35 shops in the Stony Brook Village Center. Continue past the Village Center on Main Street and see the beautiful trees and flowers as you walk toward Stony Brook Grist Mill c. 1751. See the miller grind grain into flour as it has been done for over 300 years (open Saturday & Sunday). Then visit Avalon Park and Preserve immediately across from the Stony Brook Grist Mill (an 80-plus acre preserve open from dawn to dusk – Free Admission).
